#BREAKING: Supreme Court Bans 'Two Finger Test' For Rape Survivors (1/3)

The Supreme Court on Monday banned the "two finger test" -- an archaic practice used to determine the validity of a rape survivor's claims by inserting two fingers into the vagina and assess whether the hymen is still present. (2/3)

A bench, comprising Justices DY Chandrachud and Hima Kohli, restored an overturned rape conviction, and noted that the test is based on the "incorrect assumption that a sexually active woman cannot be raped. Nothing can be further from the truth." (3/3)
