This is completely WRONG. The events you are describing in your tweet are a complete fiction. They never happened. Forget about a fight between Christians and Druids. The Christians and Druids NEVER came into contact with each others. The Druids were long gone by that time.

The Christians and Druids NEVER came into contact with each other*. Just look at the video you have posted. Yes, it describes the last stand of the druids. But NOT against Christianity. It describes the last stand of Druids against Pagan Roman empire.

Yes, the Druids made a last stand and they were massacred in 60 CE. But they were not massacred by Christians. This invasion was waged by the Pagan Roman Emperor Nero (whom the Christians also see as a villain). Your video talks about this last stand

The Druids were outlawed by Romans in 43 CE. The Druids became extinct by 2nd century CE. There was no Christianity in the British Isles during this time. It arrived much later. The druids and the Christians NEVER met each other.

Also, please stop extrapolating my statements. I was talking specifically about Greco-Roman Pagans in my tweet. It is wrong to generalize my observations to all the pagans. Of course, I stand by my statement that the response of Greco-Roman Pagans to Christianity was very meek.

In the first place, the pagans had political power. The mighty Roman emperors were all pagan until Constantine in 4th century. Yet, in the first three centuries, Christianity not only survived but also thrived. It converted a significant % of population without political power

As far as the Druids are concerned, they disappear from written records after second century CE. Of course, they are retrospectively remembered by Christian mythical writers of medieval age. In these mythical tales, the druids are seen as evil sorcerers who oppose Christianity

Finally, this identification of Druids with "Bhramans" is specious at best. Yes, Druids & Brahmans will have similarities due to their background in priesthood. But the idea that Brahmins were originally "Druids of Europe" is Colonial Aryan Romanticism
