I bet you didn't know this about TikTok... TikTok is owned by a Chinese company called ByteDance. But here's where it gets a little weird 👇 TikTok is BANNED in China. YET, there is a TikTok competitor called Douyin, which is what most people in China use. And guess what...

they're BOTH made by ByteDance! Why does this matter? Well, there are a few key differences between TikTok and Douyin that paint a bleak picture... For example, Douyin users that are under 14 years old are only allowed to use the app for 40 minutes per day. Meanwhile TikTok

has no restriction on screen time for the same demographic. Or, how about the fact that Douyin users that are under 14 years old are ONLY allowed to watch educational content... Meanwhile TikTok shows everything and anything to our children. So, it begs the question:??

Why would China ban an app that is owned and operated by a Chinese company, but allow that SAME APP to be used throughout the rest of the world? And why would there be a need for that SAME COMPANY to create a different version of TikTok just for China? 🤔

While I hate to be "doom and gloom," it looks like China is selling TikTok to the rest of us like a drug, knowing that it has negative consequences on our mental health and the development of our children. What do you think? 🤔 #tiktok #tiktokscam #ccp #warning #savechildren
