Most people think confidence is a god given gift. The thing is... that couldn’t be further from the truth. All you need to do is follow these 5 simple tips I’m about to give you. You’ll go from socially awkward to socially superior in 2 minutes. Ready?

1) Eliminate Negative People You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. How do you think being around negative people affects your worldview? If you’re always hanging out with pessimists, you’ll be a pessimist yourself.

So, what would happen if you keep your close circle limited to optimistic people? You’ll be more optimistic, more motivated, and more successful. Surround yourself with people who lift you up, not push you down. Improve your circle to improve your confidence.

2) Compliment Others How do you feel when you get a compliment? It feels awesome, right? But it also feels awesome to give compliments to others.

People are compliment sponges - we soak them up. If you can make other people feel good about themselves, they’ll be drawn to you more. They’ll see you as one of those positive energy people we talked about in the previous tip.

3) Do Something For Your Body We’re all busy people. Sometimes we neglect exercise. The thing is... we all feel incredible mentally when we feel good physically. Don’t you feel amazing after killing that workout?

Even if you’re busy, you can do 1 thing every day. Here are some examples: - 1-mile run - 10 pushups - 15-minute walk - 20 minutes of yoga Just one little thing will 10x your daily energy - and confidence is all about energy.

4) Feed Your Brain Another key aspect of confidence - knowledge. I do not mean intelligence. Your brain is like a muscle. You need to exercise it. How?

Read books. Watch courses. Listen to audiobooks. Learn something new every day. Exercise your brain. Feed its curiosity. It feels great when someone asks you about a topic and you have the knowledge to talk about it.

5) Help Someone We humans are wired to help each other. It’s one of the core values of our society. Helping someone benefits the other person and gives us a massive endorphin rush.

There’s nothing like the feeling of seeing someone’s relief from a problem or their joy from a success. If you can help elevate people from their lows and push them to their highs, you’re going to feel incredible.
