The Uniswap airdrop was worth over $10K at its peak. Countless other airdrops were worth 4 figures. If you have less than $100 to your name, airdrops are the easiest way to make your first $1K in crypto. Here are 6 resources that will help you to catch airdrops in the future👇

There are 3 main types of airdrops: 1) Retroactive airdrops. These go to people that used a dapp. Think $UNI. 2) Holder airdrops. These go to holders or stakers of a particular token. 3) Task airdrops. Tasks can range from following a Twitter account to using a testnet.

Retroactive airdrops are typically the most lucrative. This is how tokens like $ENS and $DYDX were distributed. Many smaller dapps released their tokens this way as well . Last summer, a lot of early YieldYak users received 4 figure $YAK airdrops.

1. The first tool to find retroactive airdrops is DefiLlama’s airdrop page: I like to sort by TVL to see the largest opportunities. These are all speculative, but this is a good place to start farming airdrops.

3. The third airdrop resource is an individual on Twitter. @Abrahamchase09 has some of the best threads on finding airdrops. In particular, Abraham has incredible threads on incentivized testnets, which are often left out of other sources. This is Abraham's master thread:

4. Earnifi. Qualifying for airdrops is just half the battle. You also have to claim them. @earni_fi checks your address to see if you are eligible for airdrops on Ethereum, BSC, and other chains. You can even receive email alerts when you become eligible:

4. The Cosmos ecosystem famously gives a lot of airdrops to stakers. Staking $ATOM, $OSMO, $JUNO, and other tokens has qualified you for airdrops in the past. @_cosmosairdrops consolidates info on these different airdrops and where to claim them:

With the resources above, you will catch a lot of retroactive and holder airdrops. That leaves task airdrops. These are those “Follow, retweet, and tag 3 friends to receive tokens” tweets. I personally don’t do these, but here are some resources for those of you interested:

5. Airdrop NEWS Telegram. This telegram group consolidates announcements about airdrops you can perform tasks to obtain now. Link to join: A typical announcement looks like this.

6. Airdrop Alert This site is full of airdrops, giveaways and contests. Most aren't worth very much. But if you’re starting from nothing, this is a good way to get a small amount of money “on the house.”

That's all for today! If you found this thread helpful, please consider: 1. Following me @Dynamo_Patrick for more of these 2. Retweeting the tweet below to share this thread with others

And because I can't count, you got a bonus 7th resource. If you want a more detailed walkthrough on some of these sites, check out my video from 2 weeks ago:
