#sakuatsu a/b/o | first heat Sakusa, a college student, finds himself working as a phone line operator for omegas, helping them through their heats with his calm, baritone voice. Whispering words of encouragement, praise and affirmation over the line,

it's a part-time job he never once thought he'd sign up for.Β  Not until Motoya brought it up as a suggestion, gushing over how it paid well and protected the privacy of all its users. "Come on Kiyoomi, didn't you say you needed a part time job?"

Adding how Sakusa had quote on quote, the 'perfect voice', the alpha finally gave in to his curiosity and sent in his job application. It was to no surprise that he got the job after a quick interview.

While it took time to get in sync with what callers requested for, Sakusa was quick to learn on the fly. Getting accustomed to different omegas he spoke to over the phone, he learnt how to cater to each and every one of them, and help them with what they were going through.

On this particular night, however, the call came from a visibly distressed omega.Β  "Hello…?" Sakusa was met with tiny gasps and cries of 'no's. Frowning as he straightened his back in reflex, something didn't feel right.

While it was not uncommon for an omega to be anxious and nervous during preheat, what was troubling was how the omega sobbing on the other end of the line was panicking. Breaths leaving in staccatos, it was almost like the omega was experiencing a drop on him.

Sakusa knew he had to act fast. Even if he didn't have any prior experience with this.Β  "What's wrong, sweetheart?" A choked cry came from the line. The alpha felt a knot of unease twist in his belly.

"'s… my first heat."Β  Sakusa relaxed slightly. It was reassuring to know that the omega was still with him. His chest rumbled instinctively, a loud purr eliciting a softer one, over the line.

The alpha knew just how difficult first heats were for an omega, and the toll it took on their bodies.Β  A wave of empathy and compassion filled him.

"I'll be right here, talking to you through your heat," Sakusa spoke coolly, his racing heart contradicting the calmness, "Don't worry about a thing. How would you like me to address you?" The line went quiet for a few moments, before the omega mumbled quietly.

"Atsumu. Or Atsu, please." Sakusa hummed. "I'll take care of you, Atsu," he murmured, a smile budding on his lips when Atsumu whimpered in approval.  "Yes please, 𝘒𝘭𝘱𝘩𝘒."

/tbc maybe...?

(Pt 2) 𝘈𝘭𝘱𝘩𝘒. Hearing that should have sent heat flaring in Sakusa's belly. Instead, what awakened in him, was a primal desire to comfort the omega, having his first heat.  "How are you feeling at the moment, Atsu?"

The omega made a sound of discomfort, sheets shuffling in the background.Β  "Not great- hot, sticky, gross but I- haah,” Atsumu paused, mewling softly in protest, "Hurts." The alpha felt a pang in his heart.

It was the first time he wished that he could do something more than just speak over the line. Sakusa knew better. The terms that came with his contract did not allow for anything more. Yet, it didn't seem to matter.

Not when Atsumu delved into another bout of heat-induced anxiety. "'m scared," the omega cried, gasping as his thighs got slicker, "Alpha, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘒𝘴𝘦." Sakusa swallowed the knot forming at the back of his throat. He cooed lowly.

"Sweetheart, is there anyone there with you?" Atsumu only sobbed. Sakusa tried to compose himself. The call was starting to give him a really bad premonition.

"Atsumu, do you have any suppressants?" The omega wailed.Β  𝘚𝘩π˜ͺ𝘡.

The sudden severity of the situation hit Sakusa.Β  A single omega having their first heat without any suppressants, could wind up with serious repercussions if they were left to their own devices.

Sakusa forced himself to remain calm. "Atsumu, 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘡𝘩𝘦𝘒𝘳𝘡, stay on the line with me okay? I- 𝘒𝘭𝘱𝘩𝘒 will be right there with you.”
