1/ How to get RICH in #crypto in 2022 megathread - Expanded If you read (and understand) these threads, theres no reason why this year you can't turn $1K into $1M+ or more. At the very least, by understanding this content your chances of losing your money are greatly reduced.
2/ # Introduction
1/ # Introduction
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
Before reading these threads forget everything you think you know about crypto.
If you're new to crypto, you need to understand something. You're probably going to come out of this losing money. You're a sheep, lured to the wolves by greed/delusion/shilling.
3/ # Chapter 1 - Understanding the BS that is crypto # 1.1 Crypto isnt blockchain
1/ 1.1 - Crypto isnt blockchain
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
You've probably got into crypto and quickly been convinced you are part of some emerging technology revolution. That youre ahead of the curve.
4/ # 1.2 Understanding that these are speculation era prices
1/ # 1.2 Understanding that these are speculation era prices
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
This might all seem bleak so far, but it gets worse. We are in speculation driven era. The prices you see today are based on extreme speculation (people buying because they are shilled it will go up).

1/ # 1.3 Your alt is not bitcoin
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
Usually at this stage in the rant someone will bring up Bitcoin, citing its institutional adoption and so forth. This is the second big misunderstanding that new people have in regards to crypto.
6/ # 1.4.1 Communities and projects
1/ # 1.4.1 Communities and projects
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
A big factor in the speculation and delusion in crypto is the communities. In crypto a lot of people get sucked into communities and end up part of a "tech fan club".
7/ # 1.4.2 Crypto Twitter and Influencers
1/ # 1.4.2 Crypto Twitter and Influencers
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
Another big factor in the delusions in crypto is Crypto Twitter (CT). Many people think that those with large followings on twitter are those to listen to for tips about whats a 'good project.

1/ # 1.4.3 Brief history of crypto alts and why bear markets and cycles are BS
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
Within crypto there are many concepts and ideas that are repeated or presented as fact that are not. One of these is the idea of market wide bear markets and cycles.
9/ # 1.5 - Review of Chapter 1
1/ # 1.5 - Review of Section 1
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
All of this mentioned so far isn't a great surprise to many people, especially those who've been in crypto a while. But if youre new you need to learn quick.

1/ # 2.1 Intro
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
This assumes you've read all of section 1. A lot of it can be hard to accept. Especially if you come from a fan club project. You may have even gotten this far and be thinking "This can't be true!
11/ # 2.2 Narratives
1/ # 2.2 Narratives
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
Gains happen because of narratives of future price increase. Not reality. A token can be junk, no adoption, but with a strong shill narrative it can get gains. This is why $ADA has the MC it does. It doesn't matter what the reality is.
12/ # 2.3 The Tech that matters
1/ # 2.3 The Tech that matters
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
For the most part you don't need to understand how the tech works, but you should learn and understand a bit about how software development works. This will let you know what elements of a projects ideas and plans sound realistic.
13/ # 2.3.1 Fundamentals
1/ # 2.3.1 Fundamentals
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
You need to see all of crypto as bullshit narrative. Some narrative is better than others. This solid believable stuff is "Fundamentals".

A big part of understanding narratives is understanding the current market and its trends, and identifying upcoming trends in advance.

1/ # 2.5 Trends, Seasons and Bubbles
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
If you want to understand crypto, understanding speculation and speculative bubbles is the best thing to study.
Occasionally (although likely to happen less and less) we get a market-wide-run.

1/ # 2.6 Your own intelligence will likely ruin your chances of making it
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
A lot of people screw up in crypto by trying to be clever. Following "smart" ideas. Their own intelligence screws them. They don't stick to the plan.
17/ # 2.7 TA and Charts
1/ # 2.7 TA and Charts
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
TA in crypto is mostly nonsense. Something used to shill and manipulate. People who believe in it have high enough intelligence to analyse the data, but not the wisdom to realise the entire idea is dumb.
18/ # 2.7.1 The Crypto news machine and FUD
1/ # 2.7.1 The Crypto news machine and FUD
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
Understand that there is no "news" in crypto. All of those websites that look like news outlets, they aren't. Its shilling and manipulation. Look at the groups who own these websites and you will see.
19/ # 2.8 Passive income
1/ # 2.8 Passive income
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
One of the dumbest things to be doing in #crypto right now is looking for passive income plays, or being in the them. (I'm not talking about staking a HODL you think will do well. I mean getting in things primarily for the passive income it provides)

— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
Forget paid tools, paid groups, analysis/sentiment trackers. You don't need any of that stuff. You need to immerse yourself in crypto. You need to start to spend a lot of time on Twitter and Telegram.

1/ # 3.5 Are you early or late to the narrative?
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
The most crucial part of doing this is working out if its a good investment and if you are early. Many of these accounts will shill absolute crap. Why?

1/ # 3.5.1 Entries and "dumping"
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
In crypto people are obsessed with entries and past chart data. Its certainly the case that the lower your entry, the lower the risk and higher the gains, but there is a big difference between a good entry and timing the bottom.

— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
This is one of the most common questions people have.
I do not use sell targets. Using comparisons with the performance of other projects and how the market is going, I guess my target prices for projects over the near term.

1/ # 3.8.1 Selling at a loss
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 4, 2022
This is a common predicament in crypto and its a situation in which people often lose out on gains because of handling it wrong. They buy something, it drops by 20-40% perhaps. Weeks can go by where it doesn't go back up, sometimes months.

As I mentioned previously you will need to read all the above at least twice.
Immerse yourself in crypto. Learn what works and what doesn't. Believe nothing. Consider nothing 'bad' or 'good'. Its all marketing shill.

In recent weeks you've no doubt already seen it beginning to rise (while the rest of the market dropped) and probably wondered why?

— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) December 23, 2021
2022 is a pivotal year for $ETH as key elements of ETH2.0 go live and @VitalikButerin 's vision for @Ethereum advances. One aspect of this vision is the L2 scaling scene
37/ Why I hold $METIS and $NEAR thread
1/ "Are $NEAR and $METIS still good buys here? They are up"
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 7, 2022
If you are asking this and have read the pinned thread, it means you haven't understood the strategy. If they were not good buys here, I wouldn't be holding them.
38/ What is @Polkadot $DOT thread
# Updated: What is @Polkadot ? 1/ With $DOT parachains launching, many still don't fully understand what DOT is. I'm going to try explain it in simple terms. This explanation isn't entirely accurate but its probably the easiest way of understanding it

42/ PA Narratives
1/ How do you know if its got a good PA 'narrative'?
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 12, 2022
Answer: Look at what works.
Every project fan club HODLr thinks what they're holding is undervalued with great narrative.
An example is when you see people shilling about big 'partnerships' with global businesses/enterprise
43/ Focus on X's instead of %'s
1/ # Stop focusing on %'s, focus on x's
— Crypto Boomer (@marwolwarl) January 13, 2022
Theres people in crypto who've been in it years. You can name the big gains tokens of the past 3-4 years and at some point they held them. They understand the game. They've made some okay profits but despite all this they havn't 'made it'
44/ My current portfolio and why: 14 January 2022
